The Deidre Currie Festival will host a one-of-a-kind Gourmet Farmers Market show casing some of the best sustainable (organic, biodynamic and naturally raised) farmers and food artisans Michigan has to offer. The market will be housed inside the Morris Lawrence Building on September 13th with doors opening at 9 am and closing at 6 pm. Don’t miss this exciting adventure in food. No registration needed, parking and admission to the market are free. Bring cash, shopping bags and your appetite. Bon Appétit

Children's Health Center

Adjacent to the Gourmet Farmers Market and the Speaker Session Auditorium is the Children’s Health Center filled with latest information on fluoride, childhood vaccinations, genetically modified food and soy formula. Meet some of the top holistic doctors and dentists in Southeast Michigan. Discuss how we can improve our children’s school lunch programs. Other tables include home birthing options, natural fertility, keeping toxins out of your house and away from your children, toxic free toys, organic baby clothing, preparing for pregnancy, the benefits of fresh unprocessed milk from grass fed cows and much more. If you have children or are planning to have children this is an excellent resource for ensuring a lifetime of good health. The Children’s Health Center is free to the public.

There are a number of additional events in the planning stages scheduled to take place during the weekend of September 12-14 in the Ann Arbor Michigan area all connected to the Deidre Currie Festival. Pre-registration by phone or on-line will be necessary to reserve a spot. Many of the events will be free to the public others will have a small fee.
